My name is Celine. I moved to Rome almost 4 years ago, but friends seem to come and go, not intending to live here for more than a year or so. I am a teacher here and I am a resident in Piazza Bologna with my boyfriend. I speak English, French, and Italian.

It's hard to say where I'm from when people ask me, mostly because I was born in one place but raised in multiple countries, and people have had all sorts of reactions - some open-minded and excited, and others who want to find a label for me.

My parents were big travelers, especially my dad, who's been in the hotel industry all his life, which plays a huge part as to why we've lived in so many countries. Though this may be seen as a unusual blessing of a lifestyle, I never got used to making friends and saying good bye at some point before having to move to the next place.

Finally, I've settled somewhere I've built a home and life, but some dear friends have left the country during the summer, which is an experience I'm not used to. I'm blessed to have made best friends all over the world, but it would be nice to have someone I can rely on for a good chat and laugh over yummy food.

I hope to make friends from all walks of life. I enjoy travelling, food, cooking, wine, beer, art, drawing, animals, and being part of a group where everyone is different in their own unique and beautiful way. Every experience is a gift!
