If you were been told that a northerner in Rome would feel like an expat you would not believe it. In the end I found myself having more foreigner friends than the italian ones. You can notice it when Facebook starts to suggest you more foreigner friends than the italian ones, or your phone rings with non italian names on it. Isn't that weird? ...
