Visiting Rome in June

I'm lucky enough to be spending a little under a week in Rome in June and would love if someone could recommend places to go/see other than the typical attractions there. We could also meet while there and have a chat (though my Italian isn't very good unfortunately so it would have to be a prominently English conversation), maybe even grab a coffee and go wandering while exchanging our different cultures!
