The practice of mindfulness is a research-based method for negotiating challenges including anxiety and depression, workplace stress, relationship conflicts, personal losses, and life transitions.  Mindfulness develops compassionate awareness of mental and emotional patterns through techniques that focus and calm the mind, leading to greater equanimity and psychological flexibility.
In this experiential workshop, participants learn how to:
De-fuse unhelpful thoughts and feelings (worry, anxiety, resentment) Respond to stressful events with calm alertness Remain present rather than churning over the past or worrying about the future Engage coherent breathing to improve physical and mental health Quiet the inner critic and enhance self awareness Practice mindfulness meditation
The next foundation workshop, held in central Rome, is: Saturday, 18th April 2015 10.00 - 13.00 Cost: €45
