from April 16 to April 25 the XII edition of the Week of Culture will take place; During the week, many museums and sites will have free or reduced admission.

At the end of this so interesting week we can meet all together for a free guided Tour at the 'Casa di Goethe', Germany's only museum on foreign soil. This tour will take place in English and will last approximately 45'.

How much will it cost? it's for free

How to get there? Metro line A, get off at ‘Piazza del Popolo' – then approximately 3 minutes away on foot

Casa di Goethe:
In the very rooms where Johann Wolfgang von Goethe stayed during his journey to Italy (1786-1788) with the painter Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Tischbein and other German artists, the Casa di Goethe, Germany's only museum on foreign soil has been opened in 1997.
The permanent exhibition has been conceived in three languages (German, Italian and English) and explains Goethe's journey and his sojourn in Rome. The standing exhibitions are often dedicated to German-Italian subjects and the tradition of the journey to Italy.
With its cultural events in German and Italian such as talks, readings and colloquiums, the Casa di Goethe is considered a place of artistic, scientific and cultural encounter where visitors like to come back.
